Mission Statement:
The Canadian Relief Fund for Chernobyl Victims in Belarus is a registered Canadian charity whose goal is to alleviate the effects of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster on the people of Belarus.
The Fraser Valley Group aims to assist the victims of Chernobyl in the small country of Belarus by giving the children of the families who live in the affected zone in Belarus the opportunity to live for six weeks with a Canadian family in the hope that it will improve their general health and well being. As well, we reach out to the children and their families by maintaining contact through mail and e-mail on a continuing basis.
